This is an excellent router that allows you to have a home network. According to the manufacturer, its wireless range is 300 ft. I haven't tested the range that far, but I've tested--and use--through a wall and about 15 feet. It works. I'm getting about 11mbps, which is the maximum data transmission. The great thing about it is you don't need any one computer to be on to use it.
